Designed and built in Australia, Aldridge Smart Signals allow for maximum flexibility with a route programmable function. With four Points Position signal modes, left, right, straight ahead and hold, Smart Signals can also be assigned any 2 digit alpha or numeric code which can be reprogrammed. This makes Aldridge Smart Signals ideal for ‘smart running’ and shunting. They now feature on key sections of the Sydney Metro and are soon to be installed on the South Western Extension. Smart Signals are available in a range of configurations and can also be custom built for alternative LED light colours. They can also include capacity for a significant number of spare routes for future expansion of a rail network. These can be ‘pre-loaded’ as spare route display combinations in anticipation of being used at a later date, offering increased route selection capacity and enhanced reliability.
